The Criteri Ambientali Minimi - CAM (Environmental Requirements) represent a series of specific environmental requirements that must be met at various stages of the purchasing process to identify the design solution, product, or service with the lowest environmental impact throughout its entire life cycle. These criteria take into account the options available on the market and are agreed upon the "Plan for the Environmental Sustainability of Public Administration Consumption", implemented through a Decree issued by the Minister of the Environment, Land, and Sea Protection.

The systematic and uniform implementation of CAM (Minimum Environmental Requirements) promotes the adoption of low-impact environmental technologies and eco-sustainable products, thus contributing to the advancement of a greener and more responsible economy.

When a product receives the CAM certification, it means that an external agency authorised for this purpose has verified and positively assessed the following:

• The environmental impacts of the entire production chain (from the processing of raw materials, particularly leather and hide but also plastic, to the final assembly of the products), based on BATEV (Best Available Technologies Economically Viable), meaning the best economically feasible technologies available for the specific sector of application.
• Product quality and safety requirements.
• Reduction of environmental impacts.
• Reduction of social impacts, which refers to the set of consequences on individuals and communities resulting from an action, activity, or project, in this case, carried out by the company.
• Award criteria based on process optimization, minimization of processing impacts, and adherence to circular economy principles.

Furthermore, ethical and social aspects related to our production process, which takes place entirely in Italy, have been taken into account, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to responsible and conscious manufacturing.
